A Culinary and Cultural Event |
Join the Traveling Table on a sensuous culinary tour of India at San Francisco’s
beautifully restored New Delhi Restaurant with chef Ranjan Dey, star of the
upcoming PBS series, “My India with Ranjan Dey”. Your private screening of Ranjan’s
new television series will take Traveling Table participants to two cities Mumbai
(formerly Bombay) and Kochi (formerly Cochin).
In Mumbai, Ranjan takes you to experience the Great Mango
Escape. And in Kochi, Ranjan takes you on a journey, to tell you the
Story of Black Pepper. You will get a chance to taste Pepper Macchi-
a seafood specialty with Cochin peppers and a sumptuous spread of
other authentic Indian dishes in New Delhi’s unique sensory
environment with sitars, ethnic dancers and henna tattoos for the more adventurous!
Finally you’ll end our dinning chair travels to India with a
tour of the kitchen at the New Delhi Restaurant. Prepare to take your
senses on a culinary passage to India.
